The Board Member Mastermind is a virtual event that aims to elevate the Board Member skill set and define strategies to secure new board opportunities. This virtual mastermind features case studies from real companies, VC & PE perspectives on how board members are selected and strategies to be a value-add Board Director. Our objective is to equip our participants with the right tools to become an effective board director and find new board opportunities.

Robert B. Lamm
Robert Lamm chairs the Securities and Corporate Governance practice at The Gunster Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is an Independent Senior Advisor to the Deloitte Center for Board Effectiveness.
He previously held senior legal positions at several large companies, including W. R. Grace & Co., CA Technologies, and Pfizer Inc., where he was Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.
He also has extensive experience with small- and mid-cap companies as well as private companies and non-profit organizations.

Gordon Chen MD
Gordon Chen, MD is the CEO of ThriveWellTM. ThriveWellTM brings the best of longevity medicine to older adults across America’s and helps them add more purposeful and healthily years through a transformative approach that emphasizes the 5 Drivers of Health, Wellness, and Longevity.
As a Board Member and former Chief Medical Officer of ChenMed, Dr. Chen discovered that the secret to health, wellness, and longer lives was determined by where people lived, what they ate, how much they laughed and moved around, and whether they connected to something bigger than themselves. He created a world class leadership development culture that empowered doctors to influence and coach patients to better health through a full-risk, preventive, outcomes-based approach.
Together with his family, Dr. Chen grew the practice into a multi-state enterprise and helped patients live, on average, five to seven years longer in
communities across America.
Dr. Chen is also the co-author of The Calling: A Memoir of Family, Faith, and the Future of Healthcare. The book describes Dr. Chen’s beautiful vision for how people can deliver health, wellness, and longevity to adults as they age through trusting, accountable relationships and proactive and cutting-edge transformative care.
Dr. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University as part of Brown’s Program of Liberal Medical Education. He accepted a scholarship and returned home to South Florida to attend the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and remained in Miami for his internal medicine and cardiology training. Dr. Chen supports Nicaragua Charities, a Christian non-profit organization that strives to create medical mission opportunities to meet the needs of multiple underserved Nicaraguan communities, and Youth Impact Center (YIC), a community program that strives to help at-risk youth reach their full academic, athletic, and life potential.
He is married to his medical school sweetheart, Dr. Jessica Chen, ThriveWell’s Chief Health and Wellness Officer and the former Chief Clinical Officer of ChenMed. They have four children.
